WE'RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER.

The power of music (and any great storytelling) is based in shared emotions. As a listener, when you see a reflection of yourself in the writing, it's an indescribable feeling of connection. You feel heard.

I'm sure I won't connect with everyone. That's impossible. I try to write for everyone. Again, impossible. But with the volume of work I'm releasing over the next year, the chances are greater that something will click or resonate.

Either way, my busy mind is always at work, observing, listening, recording.  Like a sponge, I walk around taking mental snapshots of people and life that could turn into songs. Day after day, emotions and characters and storylines come at me like a flood.  Yeah, all the time.

As I witness the struggles and the joys of life around me, if fuels my need to connect and reflect. Art is like a mirror. As self reflection, we put this mirror in front of ourselves, but it's also a reflection of life around us.

Someone out there has the same emotion you have right? Someone feels the same kind of rage, or breathlessness, regret, or ??? Yes, definitely.

SO I'M WRITING FOR US

A SOUNDTRACK
FOR ______.

Your rage? A crush? A love affair.? Distraction?
Music is on almost everywhere you go. It's in the background while we sit in a coffee shop, or while shopping for food. But the music you choose to listen to — on your headphones,
at work, in the car, at home — is all yours. The lyrics, the music, something about it resonates.

I want to hear what your music is a soundtrack for, and why.
